Arcare Logan: Happy 99th Birthday Kathy!

One of our Arcare Logan residents in the sensitive care unit turned 99 last week. On Saturday we organized a motorbike ride for her. Kathy was dressed up in her bike outfit - gloves and all!

Three bikes came from the Military Brotherhood Bike Club and took her for a ride around the block. Kathy’s son Jeffery took a short video as well. Kathy then celebrated with her friends in the unit with ginger beer and a mud cake.

Kathy was so thrilled she had tears in her eyes.

On Sunday the family took her to the beach where she had fish and chips for lunch.
